Weston Hendrix is the Son of Brad and Krista Hendrix from Sweetwater, Tx. He is the Owner and Host of EmpowerU, where not only is he fully involved with the industry but what he believes is his calling.
He now resides in Brenham, Tx where he is on the livestock judging team for Blinn College. He delved into competitive livestock judging, facing initial setbacks but ultimately persevering. His judging journey began by not advancing, but intensive efforts, including attending Blinn judging camp and seeking guidance from seasoned judges, paid off. Now being grateful to Blinn for letting him be a part of their program and team.
There’s no doubt pressure is found in hard times but it’s when you’re under pressure you show your ability to work. He appreciates all the people who have stepped into his life and helped mold him into the stockman he is today. No doubt there’s going to be ups and downs. You will have bad and good days. There are some days you want to quit. There’s going to be people talking about you. There’s going to be problems. If you stay true to you and pursues your passions and follow your heart. You can be successful. Embrace the imperfections, cherish the successes, and navigate the challenges.

Luke Domingue now Co-Host and Supervisor, is a member of the Blinn College Livestock Judging Team and a rising sophomore majoring in Animal Science.
A native of Carencro, Lousiana, Luke grew up in the Livestock industry raising mainly Simmental and Maine Anjou cattle with the help of his parents, Josh and Valerie Domingue and younger brother Owen. This led him to showing heifers, steers, and hogs at a competitive level. He then discovered a huge passion and skill for clipping and fitting and started his own business. His talents and professionalism have landed him countless opportunities to work for other showman and livestock operations across the country.
In High School, Luke was an active member in 4H and FFA and was a part of a very successful Livestock and Meats Judging team at the State and National levels. These accomplishments ultimately lead him to Blinn College and a position on the school’s highly recognized Livestock Judging Team.
After Blinn, Luke is planning to attend a four-year university and veterinary school, with plans to operate his own large animal practice one day and raise high quality show cattle. He treasures his family, faith, and strives to be better than he was yesterday. Luke is thankful for the opportunity to co-host the EmpowerU Podcast and excited to see what the future holds.

Colton Smith from Elgin, Oklahoma is currently a sophomore at Northern Oklahoma College pursing a degree in Animal Science and Business Administration. At NOC, Colton is a dedicated member of the livestock judging team. He brings forth a strong work ethic, passion for the industry, and a drive to grow. In the future, Colton plans to purse a degree in Embryology. Colton is excited to be part of the EmpowerU crew and looks forward to contributing to the team.
Colton is now EmpowerU’s head of sales, he demonstrates passion, integrity and a drive to achieve this platforms vision. We thank you for your work so far, and cannot wait to see what the future holds.
